JVM evaluation results with SPECjbb2000

The SPECjbb2000 benchmark emulates a 3-tiers system which is nowadays the most common type of server-side Java application.
This benchmark stresses the middle tier. It does no disk I/O or network I/O.

JVM used

BEA JRockit:
Options used: -Xnativethreads (default)

Sun JVM:
Options used: -server -Xbatch -XX:+AggressiveHeap
(Results are ~30% lower if -XX:+AggressiveHeap is not used)

Options used: none.
